mishmash of the culture edition

i've been reading the internet a lot lately. I also cleaned up my desk, got rid of irrelevant crap, and hung out with my parents! they're fun. so are my friends. and my readers. and that new recycling-happy restaurant on 22nd street? delish. the ambiance is weird, the decor is great, and the food is tasty. mostly the salmon, which i'm pretty sure was wild caught and safe to eat and all of it. not like the (barf) farmed salmon i added to my salad at Max's on Tuesday. nope, not at all.
