i am visiting happyville right now. sure, they drive SUVs and minivans and spend every weekend at the mall (that's where karate is), but the kids and the parents are charming me and simultaneously making me so sad. regretful isn't exactly it, nor can i think of the precise word, but i'm missing the possibility that was that kid.
and i still hope we get that chance again. so there.
